Silverdale Mall is a shopping centre located in Silverdale, Auckland, New Zealand. Shopping mall is located in the heart of Silverdale’s retail precinct, near the intersection of Millwater Parkway and Silverdale Street. Mall opened in November 2011 as part of a $200 million development project that also included a new town centre, a medical centre, a library and a sports complex. It was designed by Ignite Architects and built by Mainzeal Property and Construction and shopping area covers 16 000 square metres and has over 300 covered carparks. Silverdale Mall is owned by DNZ Property Fund Limited. DNZ Property Fund Limited acquired Silverdale Mall in August 2012 for $78 million from the original developers, Silverdale Centre Limited. DNZ Property Fund Limited changed its name to Stride Property Limited in October 2016 as part of a restructure that created two separate entities: Stride Property Group and Investore Property Limited.
Silverdale Mall has 27 stores offering a range of products and services, including fashion, beauty, homeware, gifts, books, electronics, entertainment and more. Some of the major stores include: Farmers, Stevens, Kathmandu, Specsavers. Silverdale Mall also has several dining options for customers to enjoy, including: Sierra Cafe, Tank, Maru Sushi & Don. Silverdale Mall’s opening hours are as follows: Monday - Saturday from 9am to 6pm, Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm. Silverdale Mall has over 300 covered carparks that are free for customers to use. The carpark entrance is located on Silverdale Street. There are also several bike racks available near the mall entrance for customers who prefer to cycle.
