Westgate Shopping Centre is an outdoor retail destination, just off the Western motorway in West Auckland, New Zealand. It is situated on Fernhill Drive, near the intersection with Northside Drive. It has a total retail area of 44,497 square metres and over 75 stores.

The shopping centre was opened in 1998 as the original development site within the Westgate area, which was designated as a metropolitan centre by the Auckland Council. It was primarily developed as an open-air large format retail precinct, featuring big-name stores and outlets such as The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, Briscoes, Rebel Sport and Bed Bath & Beyond. It also included a cinema complex, a food court and a playground. The shopping centre underwent several expansions and renovations over the years, including the addition of a Countdown supermarket, a Farmers department store and a Kmart store. It also became part of a larger retail and commercial hub that includes the NorthWest Shopping Centre, an indoor mall that opened in 2015 with another 110 stores; the Westgate Lifestyle Centre, a home and living precinct that opened in 2016 with over 20 stores; and the Westgate Town Centre, a pedestrian-friendly town square with cafes, restaurants and services. Westgate Shopping Centre is currently owned by NZ Retail Property Group (NZRPG), a property development and investment company that owns and manages several retail and mixed-use properties across New Zealand.

Westgate Shopping Centre has today 75 stores offering a range of products and services, including homewares, electronics, sports equipment, clothing, accessories and more. Some of the major retailers include The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, Countdown. The shopping centre also has a variety of dining options to suit different tastes and budgets. There are over 20 food outlets in the food court, offering cuisines such as Asian, Indian, Mexican, Turkish and more. There are also cafes such as Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Robert Harris. Westgate Shopping Centre is open seven days a week, the general opening hours are: Monday to Saturday: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Sunday: 10am to 5:00pm. Some stores may have different opening hours than the general ones. For example, The Warehouse is open from 8am to 10pm every day; Countdown is open from 7am to 10pm every day; Event Cinemas is open from 9:30am to late every day. Westgate Shopping Centre has over 2 500 free parking spaces available for customers. There are two main car parks: one on Fernhill Drive (P1) and one on Northside Drive (P2). Both car parks have entrances and exits on both roads. There are also disabled parking spaces, parents with prams parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations in both car parks. The parking hours are the same as the shopping centre opening hours, except for Thursday when the car park closes at 10pm. Westgate Shopping Centre is well connected to public transport, with several bus stops located near the shopping centre. The bus stops are on Fernhill Drive (P1) and Northside Drive (P2), which are serviced by various bus routes that connect Westgate to other parts of Auckland such as Henderson, New Lynn, Albany and Britomart. Some of the bus routes include 110, 111, 112, 114, 120 and 125.
