Westfield St Lukes is a shopping centre located on St Lukes Road in the suburb of St Lukes, Mount Albert, in the central Auckland region of New Zealand. It is one of the city’s most established retail destinations and currently serves a trade area population of 385,000 residents, with a total accessible market of 1.4 million residents. Westfield St. Lukes was opened in 1971 as St Lukes Shopping Centre, and was originally owned by the Auckland City Council. The centre included branches of Woolworths, George Court & Sons and Farmers. The centre was expanded in 1974 and 1988, adding more shops and a cinema complex. In 1999, the centre was acquired by Westfield Group and rebranded as Westfield St Lukes. The centre underwent a major redevelopment in 2003, adding a new food court, a new Farmers store and more specialty shops. In 2014, the centre added a new Countdown supermarket and more car parks. Westfield St Lukes is owned by Scentre Group, the owner and operator of Westfield shopping centres in Australia and New Zealand.
Westfield St Lukes has over 138 stores, including major brands such as Farmers, Countdown, Kmart, The Warehouse, Event Cinemas and more. The centre offers a range of products and services, from fashion and beauty to homeware and entertainment. Westfield St Lukes also has over 30 dining options, such as McDonald’s, Nando’s, Starbucks, Gong Cha, Tank Juice Bar and more. The centre has a food court with seating for up to 500 people, as well as several cafes and restaurants around the centre. Westfield St Lukes is open seven days a week, from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Wednesday and Saturday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 9pm and from 10am to 5:30pm on Sunday. Westfield St Lukes has over 2000 free car parks available for customers. The car park is accessible from St Lukes Road or Wagener Place. There are also disabled parking spaces near the main entrances of the centre.
